best experience ever.
I was very pleased with the variety of the freelancers' experiences. I quickly received responses from many willing to quote on the job, and with a quick review of their profiles, I could get a sense of whether they would be a fit for my project; some easy emails back and forth gave me the confidence to select someone and give them the project. While the payment functions are not as intuitive as the others on the site, their customer service was very helpful, and it was nice to be able to talk to someone live.
I've kept the first editor I worked with. Outsource was easy to use and I was impressed by the quality of work offered.

Using outsource is easy and has a long list of professionals that are eager to work with you. I have only used it once, but my experience was so good, I will continue to use them.

I have to say I deal with customer service almost daily with the industry I am in.. between running recording studios and gear.. to photography and gear. graphic design and gear... always dealing with customer service....the best customer service I have always sworn by as being the best in the industry is sweet water sound..... until I delt with Vaneeta M on outsourse...she makes sweet water sound look like rookies... if Vaneeta M is not in charge of training people for great customer service with a huge raise... then something is seriously wrong ... call sweet water sound sometime and check out the amazing customer service there.... Vaneeta M could even improve them in quality customer service... and I never thought it could get better then that.. until I worked with Vaneeta M
This is an easy and efficient way to get work done.
My freelancer was terrific.I did send an email to support and received back an unclear response. I also have since discovered that freelancers must pay to use the site. I feel that walks very close to an ethical red line. I would not pay a headhunter to find me a job, why should these people have to do so? Not clearly unethical, but it will make me look for other options before using this site for another project.
Nice to know that there is access to qualified sources of assistance. Like the format. Would be nice to know where to push the button to release funds to the outsourcee. Will use this service again.
I used Outsource the first time for 6 months and during that time I booked about 3 jobs and made roughly $600. I came back and signed up again and this time the minimum membership was 12 months at $50 a month, which is is a sizable investment to not have any guarantee that you'll get any work. My second time around I wasn't having as much luck and I had decided to try to cancel my membership. But, per the terms, I would have to pay $300 for early cancellation. The customer rep I spoke with had my account Manager Veneeta contact me to discuss possible solutions for the low response rate I was seeing. Vaneeta was great. She was helpful and funny and in the end, she offered to send letters of recommendations on my behalf to the jobs I had applied for. I haven't gotten hired yet, but one of the jobs did contact me and I feel hopeful that it may turn into work.I know it's frustrating to watch money just go down the drain, but if your work is good and you're willing to let Outsource Acct Managers help you, you may find success on this site. One last question for Outsource, if you are charging a membership fee, why then do you also take a cut of the designer's earnings? Shouldn't it be one or the other?
I gave a 5 because outsource themselves haven't given me cause to leave much less. I have asked for a refund after two days as my gut intuition and common sense parlay artists could possibly waste some grief and possibly dough with the clients. Many quotes go unanswered, another source of unfunded frustration. At first I thought wow, tons of jobs there, but no. if it doesn't work move on and try something else I guess; that's life.
